This repository exists because I was trying to show someone how to work with containers. There are some best-practices that are absolutely not followed here, and images built from these Dockerfiles are not suited for production use. They are simple examples to show how you might build container images from source code or externally released application binaries. They do not show off multi-stage builds or best practices for keeping container image layers minimized.
